Artist's Comments

Well, here it is. This is a completely digital picture, from start to finish, which is new for me, but I like it. I originally intended for the lineart to be crisp and smooth, but I guess I don't know how to do that, so instead I took it the opposite direction. ;P

Wondering who this is? Check out a small part of her story here: [link]

"Let's eat grandpa!" vs. "Let's eat, Grandpa!"
Proper grammar saves lives.

"I just wanted to see my 'Cherry' get all red..."
"I get red with anger, does that count?"

Thanks! I don't usually do a background, so this was fun to make. :)

I like the sketchy work. It's very raw. However, I think a big thing with getting the lines smooth and even is using the shift-click... I don't think that my drawings would be possible without it. It's so time-consuming to try to make my lines even and consistent I have to have the computer's help a little... ;)

Thank you! I did try the shift-click... but it just ended up looking funny, like too angle-y. I think the problem was the line wasn't thick enough, and also the original sketch was huge. I want to try it with a scanned-in drawing... I think maybe that would work better.
